Project Details
Located on a beautiful lot in one of londons most desirable neighbourhoods, this old farmhouse was in need of a facelift both inside and outside. The existing home had a choppy layout, the result of the the old farmhouse with two additions. Our clients sought to open the floor plan into a more cohesive space. Conversations ranged from a tear down to nearly 20 new layout combinations within the existing footprint. Ultimately we found the right layout in the existing footprint.
The house was stipped down to the foundation, exterior walls and roof. All finishes were removed, and the interior layout including basement stair location was completely changed. The project also featured a complete overhaul of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
The large open concept interior is perfect for entertaining. The new floorplan includes a double island kitchen, multiple comfortable seating areas, and generous dining spaces. Enlarged windows and skylights have enhanced the natural lighting.
Significant curb appeal, comfort, and luxury were added at the exterior with two new gable peaks added to the front of the home as well as new stone, siding, landscaping, and stunning new front porch. At the rear there is a huge new composite deck and gorgeous pool cabana matching the style of the new exterior.
Elegant finishes at every turn complement the homes new layout. Contemporary designs are evident in every corner.
